Job Title:Dealership Lot Attendant/Building Maintenance Coordinator
Location:Kool Toyota – 3780 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525
Job Type:Full-Time
Pay:$18/Hour

Job Overview:

Kool Toyota is seeking a reliable and organized Lot Attendant/Building Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the order and appearance of our vehicle while also serving as the point of contact for building maintenance. Although you won’t be performing the maintenance yourself, you’ll coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure the dealership is well-maintained. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organize and maintain vehicle inventory on Kool Toyota’s lot, ensuring the lot is orderly and presentable.
  • Assist with moving, parking, and retrieving vehicles for customers and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicle condition and cleanliness.
  • Ensure new and used vehicles are cleaned and ready for display.
  • Perform vehicle inspections upon arrival and report any damage.
  • Performing basic maintenance on vehicles, such as filling up gas and replacing windshield wiper blades
  • Support the sales, parts, and service departments with vehicle-related tasks as required.
Building Maintenance Coordinator Duties:
  • Serve as the primary contact for coordinating building maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.
  • Communicate with external contractors and service providers to arrange necessary repairs, cleaning, and maintenance services.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a lot attendant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Being able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including manual transmission.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable coordinating and communicating with external vendors and service providers.
