Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member for our Grandville store to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks and customer service opportunities. You will assist with store operations, courtesy services, and general duties designed to enhance the shopper experience.

Team members interact with customers and contribute to a positive store atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. The role offers exposure to multiple departments and career growth opportunities within Meijer Rewards

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:
