Job summary

North County Kia in Escondido, CA is hiring a full-time Lot Porter to support service operations. You will prepare vehicles, keep areas clean, and help present serviced cars to customers.

If you love cars, have a positive attitude, and can work evenings/weekends, apply today. Driver's license required; lifting up to 50 lbs; previous portering or detailing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for service, including mat and liner placement.
• Keep the service area clean and safe.
• Retrieve, wash and present serviced vehicles for customers.
• Maximize lot space through efficient vehicle placement.
• Verify serial numbers and information for incoming cars against service work and invoices.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and confirm accessories listed on invoices.
• Document damages and missing items on delivery receipts.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Pay:$34,320 to $37,440 per year

What Will I Be Doing?

• Preparing vehicles for service – mat and plastic liner placement, creating key tags, moving and parking vehicles
• Keeping service area clean, presentable, and free of safety hazards
• Retrieving, washing and drying of newly serviced vehicles for customers
• Playing car Tetris! Ensuring maximum use of the space on the dealership lot
• Verifying serial numbers and information for incoming cars against service work and invoices
• Inspecting cars for damage and confirming accessories listed on invoice
• Documenting damages and missing items on delivery receipts
• Other tasks or duties as needed

What Do I Need?

• Must have a Driver's License
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous experience working as a Lot Porter, Facility Attendant, Detailer a plus!
• A can-do attitude!
