Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and park vehicles on the lot according to dealership layout and standards.
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and report any issues to management.
  • Move vehicles to and from service areas, customer parking, or other dealership locations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lot and dealership grounds.
  • Support the sales team with vehicle retrievals for test drives and customer appointments.
  • Ensure keys are properly tagged and stored.
  • Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic flow guidelines.

Job Summary:

The Car Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership lot. This role supports the sales team by ensuring vehicles are clean, parked properly, and ready for customer viewing or delivery. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and park vehicles on the lot according to dealership layout and standards
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and report any issues to management
  • Move vehicles to and from service areas, customer parking, or other dealership locations
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lot and dealership grounds (e.g., picking up trash, clearing snow or debris)
  • Support the sales team with vehicle retrievals for test drives and customer appointments
  • Ensure keys are properly tagged and stored
  • Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic flow guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions
  • Previous automotive or lot experience is a plus, but not required
  • Outdoor work with exposure to sun, rain, cold, and other weather
  • Involves standing, walking, squatting and occassional lifting (up to 30–50 lbs)
