Job summary

Conicelli is seeking a Lot Attendant to maintain an orderly and efficient vehicle lot. You will manage vehicle positions, perform relocations, and conduct inspections on new arrivals to ensure every vehicle is clean and undamaged before customers view them.

You will operate vehicles safely, assist customers with inquiries, and maintain meticulous key control and inventory records. A strong sense of responsibility and reliability is essential for success in this role.

  • Operates vehicles safely, complying with traffic laws and company policies.

  • Uses strong communication to coordinate with team, management, and customers.
  • Follows safety protocols to maintain a secure outdoor lot environment.
  • Supports inventory tracking by recording vehicle movements and status updates.

As a Lot Attendant, you play a critical role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our vehicle inventory. You ensure a smooth flow of operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and sales readiness. This position is essential for presenting a professional image and supporting our team by keeping our lot orderly, safe, and accessible. You contribute to a positive experience for every customer who visits our location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages the vehicle lot, ensuring all vehicles are neatly organized, properly parked, and easily accessible for staff and customers.
  • Performs efficient Vehicle Relocation, moving vehicles between designated areas on the lot, to service, or for customer delivery.
  • Conducts thorough Vehicle Inspection for new arrivals, identifying and reporting any existing damage or cleanliness issues before they impact customer perception.
  • Operates vehicles safely and responsibly, demonstrating skilled Driving abilities while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Provides exceptional Customer Service, assisting clients with vehicle inquiries, directing them to specific models, and answering basic questions with a helpful attitude.
  • Applies keen Attention to Detail when inspecting vehicles, organizing the lot, and managing vehicle keys, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Utilizes strong Communication Skills to interact clearly and professionally with team members, management, and customers, conveying information effectively.
  • Adheres strictly to all Safety Protocols, maintaining a secure environment for vehicles, staff, and customers on the lot at all times.
  • Maintains meticulous Key Control, organizing and tracking vehicle keys securely to prevent loss and ensure quick access.
  • Assists with Inventory Tracking by accurately recording vehicle movements and status updates, supporting precise inventory management.
Education
  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • No prior experience required; we train motivated individuals.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Holds a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Exhibits excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Shows a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Understands and follows verbal and written instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance or cleaning procedures.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
  • Stands and walks for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Bends, stoops, and reaches to perform various tasks.
  • Works outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
  • Lifts and moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Operates and enters/exits various types of vehicles frequently.
