Job summary

Toyota Carlsbad is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant to join our Carlsbad dealership. You will receive, inspect, and organize incoming vehicles, maintain a clean lot, and support multiple departments as needed.

The full-time position requires attention to detail, punctuality, and teamwork. A valid driver's license is required; there are opportunities for growth and a strong employee culture with benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, lot attendant, porter, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and dealership procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Toyota vehicles is a plus.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming vehicles and verify vehicle identification/serial numbers against invoices and delivery documentation.
• Inspect incoming vehicles for damage and confirm that listed accessories are present.
• Document any vehicle damage or missing items on delivery receipts.
• Park and organize new vehicles in designated lot areas.
• Assign and maintain stock control numbers as needed.
• Deliver sold vehicles to the appropriate department for preparation.
• Assist with maintaining vehicles in storage to help protect tires, batteries, and exterior finishes.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe vehicle lot.
• Follow all dealership quality control processes and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Assist other departments with vehicle movement as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
