As a member of the Front End Customer Service Team, you will ensure customers leave with a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities include engaging customers with friendly conversation, handling bagged items carefully, and maintaining a safe and clean parking lot. Your goal is to leave a lasting impression and turn first-time shoppers into loyal Wegmans customers.
The physical demands are classified as light to medium, including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting. You may be asked to work at a cash register. Items lifted or moved typically weigh 20-35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. The environment is mostly outdoors with seasonal weather conditions. Basic tools include shopping carts, snow blowers, shovels, and maintenance equipment. Experience in customer service, especially in food service, grocery, or retail, is preferred.
