Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Jefferson, GA is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist for our Distribution Center. Shift: C, Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am; responsible for reducing losses, conducting investigations, and enforcing security procedures.

Starting pay range is $20.00 to $21.10 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to safety programs and loss prevention initiatives within a Fortune 100 company.

Qualifications

• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to see tasks through to completion.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year security / LP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify all forms of loss within the Distribution Center.
• Review CCTV and Access system for evidence of theft and security violations.
• Conduct basic investigations into associates' dishonesty.
• Conduct security checks of building and trailer yard.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports as necessary.
• Conduct safety and security tours of the shipping center.
• Ensure policy and procedures are consistently followed.
• Report unsafe conditions and acts to appropriate personnel.
