The position requires experience in loss prevention or security, plus a relevant degree or current pursuit of one. Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and proficiency with CCTV and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Military or Law Enforcement background a plus.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Overview

Job Description:

Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from our Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Schedule Shift: Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 8:30pm

Responsibilities

• Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and information
• Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment
• Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities
• Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations
• Monitors access control to main warehouse and inbound/outbound freight flow
• Serve as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink
• Capacity to handle confidential information

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

The Skills That Will Make You Successful

• Relevant work experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security and / or a Bachelor’s degree, or on track to obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement a plus
• Demonstrates positive energy, motivation, and flexibility
• Ability to successful work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites and the ability to learn and use in-house software packages.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV equipment and systems
• Ability to work both inside and outside during all types of weather

• Experience working in an industrial setting: warehouse or distribution center
