Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, is hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist at our Dayton Fulfillment Center. The role focuses on protecting assets, investigating theft, monitoring access control, and ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Shift is Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm. Strong CCTV knowledge and MS Office proficiency are preferred; prior LP or security experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, Security and / or a Bachelor’s degree, or on track to obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement a plus
• Demonstrates positive energy, motivation, and flexibility
• Ability to successful work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites and the ability to learn and use in-house software packages.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV equipment and systems
• Ability to work both inside and outside during all types of weather

Responsibilities

• Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities
• Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations
• Monitors access control to main warehouse and inbound/outbound freight flow
• Serve as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink
• Capacity to handle confidential information
• Attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Loss Prevention Specialist

Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

Overview

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, safety, and shortage root cause analysis. This position will work a variety of ever changing assignments within the department to include roles designed to monitor warehouse access control, gatehouse and distribution control, operations auditing, and internal investigations. Will take direction from our Lead Specialist and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

The Skills That Will Make You Successful
