Job summary

Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist in Florence, SC to help prevent loss and support safety program compliance. You will identify theft incidents, review CCTV and anomaly reports, monitor security, and prepare detailed case reports with evidence for law enforcement if needed.

Qualifications

• Preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud.
• Supporting safety and environmental program compliance.
• Identify incidents of theft and fraud and review CCTV and exception reports.
• Monitor the store's physical security and audit Electronic Article Surveillance.
• Prepare accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
• Preserve evidence and interact with law enforcement, testifying in court when required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and minimize risk of injury.
• Demonstrate integrity and focus on store objectives while supporting asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical security and perform EAS audits to shrink loss.
• Prepare detailed case reports and preserve evidence for legal actions.
• Interact with law enforcement and testify in criminal or civil actions when required.
• Report hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with store leadership to drive asset protection and operational objectives.
