Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to help keep our facilities safe and secure. You will be stationed at the guard post, greet visitors and carriers, verify identifications, and confirm authorization for entry while upholding company policies.

The role requires 1-2 years of loss prevention or safety experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and willingness to obtain First Aid within six months. Competitive hourly pay and shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2-year safety or loss prevention experience.
• First Aid or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by strictly following and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Document accident/injury incidents through detailed reports and participate in activities to prevent accidents and minimize losses.
• Primary position at the guard post, serving as the first point of contact for all visitors, transportation carriers and staff; verify identification and purpose for entry; ensure credentials and resources are available.

Loss prevention officer

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour (Plus Shift Differentials)

Schedule Options:

Every Wednesday/Thursday and every other weekend (Fri,Sat,Sun)

Hours:

5AM - 5PM (12 hours)

What Will You Do?

You will take part in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace by strictly following and enforcing company policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include documenting accident/injury incidents through detailed reports and participating in various activities aimed at preventing accidents and minimizing losses. Your primary position will be at the guard post, where you will serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, transportation carriers, and other personnel entering the site. In this capacity, you will verify their identification and purpose for being on the premises. You will also ensure that they have the appropriate credentials and resources needed for their visit.

What Do You Need?

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice , Business or related field or equivalent work experience, Preferred
• 1-2-year safety or loss prevention experience, Required
• First Aid or ability to obtain with 6 months
