Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Loss Prevention Investigator to help protect assets and deter theft at our locations. You will use advanced camera systems and incident reports to identify and respond to security threats, while coordinating with store leadership and local law enforcement.

The role requires flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays, with prior loss prevention or related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous loss prevention or related experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance and apprehensions of external theft suspects in compliance with company guidelines.
• Monitor customer and Team Member activity to prevent theft of Company assets.
• Assist with monitoring store compliance with policies on theft deterrence, safety, and operations controls.
• Accurately complete all statistical and incident reports; maintain apprehension and investigation records.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and court officials.

As a Loss Prevention Investigator, you work closely with store and loss prevention leadership utilizing one of the industry’s most advanced camera systems, exception based reporting tools, and other investigate techniques to reduce shrink.

• Conducts surveillance and apprehensions of external theft suspects in compliance with company guidelines.
• Monitor customer and Team Member activity to prevent potential theft of Company assets.
• Assists with monitoring store compliance with company policies and procedures on theft deterrence, safety, and operations controls.
• Accurately completes all statistical and incident reports. Maintains all apprehension and investigation records according to company standards.
• Work closely with local law enforcement and court officials.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous loss prevention or related experience preferred.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays is preferred.
