Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Security Guard for The Whitehall Houston. This on-site, part-time role requires vigilance, strong customer service, and the ability to respond to incidents quickly to ensure guest safety and property protection.

You will patrol the property, monitor access, and coordinate with staff to maintain a secure environment day and night. Training and growth opportunities are provided, along with a comprehensive benefits package and employee-focused culture.

• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.

Responsibilities

• Patrols property, inside and out during all shifts.
• Check doors and stairwells to ensure they are secure.
• Respond to complaints and calls for help.
• Purchase, maintain and monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Escort unruly patrons and loiterers from the property.
• Assist with securing taxi for inebriated guests.
• Fill out reports at end of shift.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in Security role
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred, Peace Office training preferred
