As the Loss Prevention Officer, you will ensure security measures are in place and being followed. You assist in providing our guests a safe haven as well as our fellow team members a safe and productive work zone. Dependability, reliability, and calmness are essential for success. You must be customer service oriented but always prioritize safety. Our owners will rely on you to protect the asset – the hotel, including the building, grounds, and equipment. Role Summary:

This position is responsible for safeguarding hotel property, assets, guests, visitors, and our associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect hotel assets. Answer house calls, assist guests and employees regarding safety, security, and hotel operations.
  2. Initiate and follow up on all investigations of crimes committed against the hotel and individuals.
  3. Assist sick or injured guests or employees, ensuring proper documentation and report disposition.
  4. Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations for timely conclusion, and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors, and employees. Document all contacts at the hotel and with Concord as necessary.
  5. Maintain accurate records, including camera monitoring, shift activity logs, codebook, and interactions with employees and guests.
  6. Assist supervisor in checking alarm systems and fire department systems, and monitor security of building doors, service areas, and delivery zones.
