THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
Under general supervision, the Analyst, Loss Prevention - E-commerce Charge-backs is responsible for analyzing E-commerce data produced through the E-commerce fraud program for possible fraud, procedural violations, and training opportunities. The focus is to leverage this information to investigate and make decisions pertaining to credit card disputes.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Investigate and expeditiously respond to Guests who file disputes through disputing tools to mitigate losses.
- Build processes for responding to disputes and become the SME on charge-backs with collaboration across E-commerce, Guest Services, Cash Audit, and FP&A.
- Review system-generated data to identify fraudulent orders accepted or rejected by the system.
- Report fraud system results to the business and prepare recommendations for future action
- Utilize tools as assigned to assist with internal investigations
- Review system-generated data to evaluate the performance of the fraud tool in preventing fraudulent transactions and limiting rejection of legitimate orders.
- Make recommendations regarding the implementation of new rules
- Learn and have a good working knowledge of cross-functional processes within LP E-commerce, including Guest queue, and basic trend analysis to support the team during peak times and support projects and process improvements.
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
- Undergraduate degree preferred (related field), accumulated 5 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience).
- 2-4 years’ experience with E-commerce systems, retail, and/or guest services, including specific experience with fraud tools
- Use Microsoft tools to communicate information in a concise, detailed, and accurately.
- Communicate information in oral form in a concise, detailed, and accurate manner
- Formulate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to provide, from imported data, performance totals, averages, and other statistics.
- Knowledgeable about social engineering
- Use excellent analytical and related report development skills to interpret data and present summary conclusions in an understandable format.
- Work independently using excellent prioritization skills to provide the business with productive analyses and useful problem solutions.
- Must be able to travel in town and out of town, occasionally to attend training sessions and user conferences.
The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $73,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
