Job Description

Scope

Individual contributor proficient in applying subject matter knowledge. This knowledge is acquired through several years of experience in the specific area. The role involves working independently and may include instructing or coaching other professionals.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Management Experience: Not applicable.
  • Skills & Abilities: Professional Certifications/Licenses such as CSP, CHCM, ARM may be required. Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Travel: May be required.
Responsibilities
  • Process workers' compensation claims, communicate with employees, insurance carriers, medical providers, and local management.
  • Assist in facilitating a safe and effective return to work after an injury.
  • Communicate effectively regarding workers' compensation matters.
  • Understand OSHA recordkeeping and report any reportable injuries.
  • Manage claims from filing to resolution, including obtaining medical documentation.
  • Support injured employees and management through the workers' compensation process.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations, including developing or conducting training programs.
  • Evaluate safety procedures and compliance, analyze safety data, and support necessary actions.
  • Assist in hazard abatement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of occupational safety and environmental programs, including OSHA, DOT, waste management, chemical hygiene, exposure control, PPE, and fleet safety.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
  • Same educational and experience requirements as above.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CHCM, ARM may be required.
  • Travel may be required.
Compensation

The annual salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. This role does not include an annual bonus. Salaries are aligned with geographic location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Salary discussions will occur during the phone screening based on your location and experience.
