Loss Control Representative - Insurance Inspections - Dalton, GA (Finance)

As a Verisk Field Representative, you will evaluate commercial business sites for multiple lines of insurance coverage, loss prevention, and risk assessment. You will assist insurers in their policy underwriting and pricing decisions through onsite observations and reporting. This is a full-time position where you will use effective planning and organizational skills to schedule and complete commercial business site visits and reports. You'll get to witness an endless variety of properties and business operations through the lens of the insurance carrier.

Responsibilities include:

1. Scheduling and conducting on-site visits, completing reports to evaluate risk, and developing safety and loss control recommendations.
2. Representing Verisk professionally via phone, in person, and in written correspondence.
3. Ensuring data quality through detailed and customer-centric report completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Risk Management, Insurance, Construction Management, or related fields.
• Experience in insurance loss control, underwriting, claims, or property inspections is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with technology, including MS Office and mobile applications.
• Strong planning, goal setting, and time management skills with minimal supervision.
• Ability to gather detailed data, work in various environments, and handle physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, and driving.
• Professional designations like CFPS, CSP, ARM, etc., are a plus.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, ability to travel overnight, and a suitable remote work environment with high-speed internet. Residence near the assigned territory is required. This is a remote, work-from-home role involving onsite property visits within a designated geographic area.
