Job description

Loss Control Representative

We are looking for a dedicated Loss Control Representative to join our team and help our clients build safer workplaces, reduce injuries, and lower their experience modification rates. This role is essential in educating and supporting our large commercial accounts with OSHA training, safety services, and other key loss control initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
OSHA Training & Outreach
  • Educate large commercial clients on safety and health practices that contribute to premium savings and reduced experience modification rates.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with Producers; may require referencing an expiration list.
  • Document meetings thoroughly in TAM, using the appropriate Activity Type when needed.
  • Serve as the OSHA compliance liaison for both Producers and clients, particularly those in high-risk and large-scale operations.
  • Collaborate with Producers to identify clients for contact and schedule outreach based on expiration timelines.
  • Deliver authorized OSHA Outreach Training, including 10‑hour classes for both Construction and General Industry.
  • Maintain proactive communication with Producers and document all interactions in TAM for future reference.
  • Conduct OSHA Log training sessions upon client request and record activity appropriately in TAM.
Additional Services Provided
  • Forklift Training: Offer "Train the Trainer" programs for commercial clients and establish timelines for renewal training.
  • Defensive Driving: Maintain certification with the National Safety Council and conduct training sessions for clients.
  • CPR Training: Hold a valid training certification, teach classes, and provide certification materials; set schedules for renewal sessions.
  • First Aid Training: Hold appropriate certification, lead training sessions, and distribute necessary materials; coordinate renewal timelines.
Loss Control Liaison Duties
  • Analyze client loss trends and develop tailored safety awareness programs aimed at reducing workplace injuries and future modification rates.
  • Manage and log Safety Services reports, and schedule follow-up meetings with clients to address areas of concern and suggest relevant prevention materials.
  • Respond to all service requests routed through Producers and maintain an organized system for tracking Safety Services usage.
  • Identify key loss and claim pain points and provide clients with curated loss control resources via MyWave.
  • Oversee the implementation and tracking of Watson Live and Zywave programs.
  • Maintain detailed records of all training activities, including type of training, number of hours, and participant counts.
  • Conduct key account audits in advance of renewals to ensure safety programs are on track and aligned with loss control goals.
