NEIS is currently looking for Loss Control Field Inspectors to join our team! Loss Control Field Inspectors conduct insurance loss control inspections on either commercial or residential dwellings.

This is a Part-Time/Occasional Job. Hours can vary from week to week, but you make your own schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct physical inspections on either commercial or residential properties.
2. Apply manual rules and company standards to find possible risks to reduce the chance of accidents.
3. Prepare a schedule to maximize optimal use of time and to ensure service timelines are met.
4. Correspond with insured via phone, email, and text message as necessary to set up appointments.
5. Complete a physical loss control survey to identify any current issues or hazards.
6. After the physical inspection is completed, prepare required reports that include multiple pictures.
7. Communicate survey status via internal progress reports.

Job Requirements:

1. Competent use of digital camera, word processing, and email.
2. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (based on NEIS guidelines).
3. Must live within a 30-mile radius of the territory.
4. Job will be based from home with required travel to each inspection location within your assigned territory.

Compensation and Benefits:

2. $55 - Commercial (SMP, Property, Premises Liability, Garage Liability, Contractors Liability)
3. $50 – Personal Lines – Interior / Short Form
4. $35 – Personal Lines – Exterior
5. $20 – Photo only/phone
6. $10 - Closeout / Nonproductive

1. On-the-job training.
2. Base pay - paid weekly.
3. Mileage Reimbursement - paid weekly.
4. Production pay - paid weekly.
