Loss Control Consultant (REMOTE) (St. Paul, MN)
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Conducts loss control inspections for multiple clients, identifies potential hazards and controls in place to minimize risk, and prepares comprehensive reports for insurance carriers to assist in underwriting decisions.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in occupational safety, risk management, or a related field preferred. Certification in loss control or risk management, such as CSP or ARM, preferred.
Six (6) years of related experience, to include three (3) years of experience in loss control, risk management or related risk services at a third-party administrator or insurance carrier, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.
Computer keyboarding, travel as required.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80,000.
