Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is one of the largest independently owned providers of Loss Control to the property and casualty insurance industry. We specialize in Property, General Liability, Products Liability, Fleet, Inland Marine, and Workers' Compensation.

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to conduct commercial insurance loss control inspections across our coverage territory.

Role Overview

An Insurance Loss Control Consultant performs commercial insurance inspections and completes underwriting reports, which insurance companies use to assess and underwrite policies. Responsibilities include driving to locations, photographing and observing facilities, noting business operations, and documenting findings online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record onsite observations, take measurements and photos per carrier requirements
  • Identify building and roof construction types, square footage, and hazards
  • Complete reports and assignments promptly
  • Communicate with Field Manager to optimize inspection efficiency
  • Coordinate inspection schedules with insured representatives
  • Prepare and upload inspection reports, photos, and diagrams
  • Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control Service Providers or Major Insurance Carriers
  • Understanding of commercial lines, mainly Property, General Liability, and Inland Marine
  • Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes
  • Knowledge of NFPA codes
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with computers, internet, and report writing
  • Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 6 feet
  • Digital camera or smartphone with camera
  • Measuring tools and camera pole
Compensation

Inspections completed accurately are paid starting at $110 per assignment. This role offers flexible scheduling and independence in a growing industry.
