Ashton North LLC in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Angeles office in a hybrid capacity. You will handle wage-and-hour, PAGA, and class action matters for a diverse client base, with significant client interaction and collaborative teamwork.

The ideal candidate has a CA bar in good standing and 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment experience, including state and federal litigation, discovery, and strong research and writing

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience handling wage-and-hour, PAGA, and class actions in state and federal courts.
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within team-based environments.
• Familiar with using AI-driven technologies to boost efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions and document review.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlements.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs.

Our client, a leading management-side labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Anglesoffice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced associate to work on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base, including complex wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation. The role offers meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-performing employment law team.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience
• Significant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including matters in state and federal courts
• Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments
• Comfortable with and open to using AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to boost efficiency, improve client service, and enhance legal work output
• Prior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary Range: $275,000 – $330,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
