Overview

The Part Time Parking Lot Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing field support and overseeing the conduct of Parking Cashiers & Parking Attendants to ensure parking lot operations are carried out correctly, safely, and efficiently, as directed by the Ballpark Operations management team. The supervisor will ensure proper accounting of company funds by counting, reconciling, and depositing cash daily, and must understand their responsibilities and those of their team to maintain effective communication. This position covers all Angel stadium events, beyond baseball.

Details

The pay rate for this position is $19.95 per hour. It includes benefits such as sick time (after 90 days), 401k contributions (after 3 months), and complimentary tickets to games (12 per season).

Responsibilities

1. Initiate, plan, and schedule work, activities, and resources for crews or employees.
2. Train employees in duties and equipment use.
3. Coordinate work between flaggers and cashiers for efficient operations.
4. Evaluate work activities and resources.
5. Confirm work details with the parking manager before shifts.
6. Assign work orders and monitor staff capabilities.
7. Manage and reconcile cash vault, perform audits, and handle deposits.
8. Ensure proper use of timekeeping systems and correct errors.
9. Enforce policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
10. Oversee equipment deployment and setup.
11. Interact with fans, control traffic, troubleshoot parking devices, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling cash transactions preferred.
• Strong communication skills with diverse populations.
• Positive attitude and professionalism.
• Ability to operate a 10-key calculator and currency counters.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and scheduling system ABIMM.
• Teamwork and emergency response skills.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 3 years.
• Pass background and credit checks.

Physical Demands

• Stand/walk for extended periods.
• Use hands and arms to direct guests.
• Work outdoors in sunlight and inclement weather.
• Walk on uneven surfaces.
• Drive golf carts or scooters safely.
• Lifting up to 25 lbs.
