Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Machine Operator in Orangeburg, SC to set up looms, monitor production, and perform routine maintenance for high-quality fabric output. You will work with facilities, health and safety, and quality teams to meet targets and uphold the quality system.
The role requires hands-on machine operation, mechanical aptitude, and strong problem-solving. This permanent onsite position offers competitive pay and benefits in a climate-controlled facility.
Qualifications
- Experience in a production environment with machine operation and maintenance.
- Ability to configure looms and related equipment for specific runs.
- Strong problem-solving and quality inspection capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Set up all looms for consistent, high-quality fabric production and optimal machine performance.
- Monitor loom operations during production and adjust for quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on looms per standards.
- Identify issues and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
- Train and develop technical skills of personnel on the production floor.
