Sr. Java Developer

Location: Chicago IL (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Experience Level: 12+ years

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components based on screen design documents that fit within technical framework as outlined by technical architects
• Ensure code meets standards and is tested appropriately to the platform
• A team player with the ability to own the design and code as per requirements given
• Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
• Continuously look for ways to improve the application stability, scalability, and user experience
• Address architecture security and own the team’s approach to technical risks and mitigation

Knowledge / Skills

• Agile Methodology and Cloud Native Development (Azure preferred)
• Knowledge of user interface frameworks, Java, Application servers
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• A positive goal‑oriented attitude with a focus on delivery

Required Skills
