Calling Picture Book Illustrators! At Astound US Inc, we are offering a rare opportunity, as we are looking to sign a select group of exceptional Picture Book Illustrators. This is your chance to join our roster of top-tier artists, with opportunities that are truly unique. We are looking for the best of the best picture book specific illustrators to join our award winning roster of artists.

At Astound US Inc, we are Drawn to Better. We’re known for being the leading agency in contemporary children's book illustration and now, we’re looking for our next industry-leading picture book artists!

Our award-winning artists are highly sought after and we are looking for new talent as we continue to grow and open the doors for you to become part of something astounding.

We would love to review your work, and there's absolutely no cost associated with your submission. Don’t worry, you have time to get your folio in order. We are being highly selective in our acceptance and we are signing talent who will appeal directly to our talent base - no more than 4 artists a month, out of 1000s of applications a week. We invite all picture book illustrators to apply regardless of past professional experience.

All submissions are processed by our talent scouts at ITSme and reviewed in partnership with our Astound agents.

What are your submission guidelines?

Please send the following to: [e-mail] If you do not follow the submission guidelines your work will not be considered.

• A collection of your strongest Picture Book Specific images (8-12 images). This must include full pages, as well as child characters, character interaction, and well illustrated environments. Make sure you are only sending artwork specific to the picture book market. Fine art folios, design resumes, greeting cards, and non picture book focused work will not be accepted no matter your skill level. If you would like to apply to other agencies we work with, please refer to their submission guidelines.
• A link to your online portfolio/ website or art related social media.
• A quick introduction of yourself.
• Subject line: “Astound Picture Book Submission”.
