Looking for Mechanical Designers / Engineers at Electrolux Germany

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Designer / Engineer who will join our Food Preparation R&D Center in Rothenburg. This role is a unique opportunity to grow professionally in an established, international environment while working on innovative projects in close cooperation with laboratories, purchasing, quality, central engineering and suppliers.

In this role you will:

• Design mechanical and electromechanical components and subsystems in 2D and 3D
• Identify standardization opportunities
• Evaluate environmental impact
• Support intellectual patent analysis and clearance
• Use robust design tools (CATIA, FMEA, FEM, statistical tolerance chain analysis, risk assessment)
• Analyze technical test results and take decision for final component approval

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Working proficiency in English and German
• Good understanding of design of plastic and metal components

Competencies needed:

• Willingness and ability to work in teams
• Good communication skills and intercultural understanding
• Willingness to travel

You will get additional points for:

• Master Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience leading projects
• Experience in product development or industrial engineering within home appliances or similar business
• Professional or university experience in an international environment preferably within a multinational
• Experience in design of electronic and/or electromechanical components
