Job summary

Aloma Healthcare, Inc. seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide in-home senior care in Huffman, TX 77336. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, supporting clients with disabilities or mobility challenges.

We value a patient, reliable, one-on-one care approach. A High School Diploma or CNA preferred, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Care experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to perform household tasks and meal preparation as part of daily routine.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for community visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Assist with mobility inside and outside the home (appointments, walks, errands).
• Help with personal care and hygiene tasks as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal service.

We have an immediate opening for a client in Huffman, TX 77336. Caregiver must have a heart and passion in caring for seniors. The family would also like assistance with household tasks like laundry, light house cleaning, incontinence care, meal prep, bathing, cooking, and some companion care.

Salary: $11 - $16 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving

Qualifications

• Enjoy giving clients the above and beyond "wow" factor
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver (CNA preferred)
