Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Senior Shield Home Care has immediate openings for experienced, compassionate caregivers for the schedule below:

• 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some weekends

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist with showering, denture cleaning, teeth brushing, shaving (safety razor), nail care
• Clean client areas, medication reminders, wellness checks, blood pressure checks
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding and fluids
• Assist with transfers, wheelchair and walker use
• Infection control, choking management if prone during eating
• Change bed linens, make beds, laundry, light cleaning, shopping
• Transport clients as needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience
• Compassion for seniors and disabled clients
• CNA certification, CPR/First Aid
• Current TB clearance or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift and transfer patients with assistive devices
• Clear communication in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to transport patients occasionally
• A positive attitude is essential

Pay Rate

$18-$20 per hour, depending on experience
