What You Will Be Doing

• Helping clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to doctor's appointments, errands, and social outings
• Providing companionship, whether that means watching a movie together, playing cards, or just being someone to talk to
• Helping clients move safely around their home
• Giving family caregivers a much needed break

What We Are Looking For

• A genuinely caring, dependable personality. This is the most important thing.
• Some experience in caregiving, professional or personal. If you have cared for a parent, grandparent, or neighbor, that counts.
• Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license. You will need to get to your clients consistently and on time.
• Ability to clear a Live Scan background check
• Negative TB test result
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California, or willingness to register
• CPR and First Aid a plus
