Job summary

Resource Logistics Inc. is seeking a Looker admin with Tableau admin background in Irving, TX. The role supports migrating Tableau content, managing Looker models and administering AD/SSO access. You’ll oversee upgrades and ensure secure, scalable access across BI platforms.

You will split time between Tableau migration tasks and Looker administration, with a focus on validating deployments, performance, and governance across environments.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Tableau Server and cross-server migrations.
• Experience administering Looker and managing models, connections, and access.
• Experience with AD/SSO integration and user/group management.

Responsibilities

• Migrate sites, projects, workbooks, data sources, extracts, schedules and permissions between Tableau servers.
• Run discovery and inventory: content, usage, owners, dependencies and embedded links.
• Build and test migration scripts and rollback steps in non-prod before production cutover.
• Support Tableau Server upgrades and post-upgrade validation.
• Re-map users, groups and permissions, including AD/SSO.
• Handle credential re-authentication, extract refresh validation and capacity checks.
• Support pilot and wave cutovers, hypercare and decommissioning of source servers.
• Administer Looker: users, groups, roles, model sets, connections and content access.
• Manage LookML projects, Git integration, deployment and environment promotion.
• Monitor performance, PDTs, schedules and usage via System Activity.
• Convert selected Tableau dashboards to Looker and validate against source.
