Job summary

Perry Ellis International, Inc. in Miami, FL, seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to join onsite five days a week.

You will serve as the SME for Looker across retail, wholesale, and accounting, designing dashboards and reports, and modernizing BI from SAP to Looker. You will write SQL in Snowflake, build Python scripts for data cleaning, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into actionable strategy while advancing AI-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Advanced daily SQL proficiency and ability to optimize queries.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Hands-on data visualization experience, especially Looker (Tableau/Power BI acceptable).
• Functional Python for data cleaning and scripting.
• Experience with AI tools to accelerate coding and workflows.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and warehousing.
• Nice-to-have: fashion/apparel/retail/supply chain domain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and LookML models in Looker.
• Modernize legacy SAP BusinessObjects reports into Looker semantic layers and dashboards.
• Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake.
• Build Python scripts for data cleaning and analytics.
• Create AI Agents and automate data workflows to speed development.
• Validate data integrity and audit AI-generated queries.
• Collaborate with business analysts and leadership to translate data into strategy.
• Deliver executive reports and ad-hoc analytics.
