About this position:
The Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI), housed within the State Budget Office, manages, collects, and reports education data, including electronic exchange of student records across preschool, K-12, and postsecondary education.
CEPI is recruiting for a Longitudinal Data Analyst in its Longitudinal Data Unit to perform analytical and reporting tasks that accurately portray information on Michigan’s students, staff, and schools.
Primary activities include:

Position Location/Remote Office: Located in Lansing, MI, with a hybrid work option (one day on-site, up to four days remote). Confirm work location and schedule during the interview. Non-Michigan residents not planning to relocate are not eligible.
Limited Term: The appointment begins at hire and expires after two years. Employees are encouraged to seek permanent positions within SBO or the State of Michigan.
Education: Bachelor's degree in any major required. Candidates nearing graduation may be considered with unofficial transcripts; final employment contingent upon official transcripts. Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
Experience:
Educational substitutions are available for certain levels, such as active-duty military experience equivalent to at least two years at or above the E-6 level.
