Job DetailsJob Location: Towson , MD 21286Education Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $160.00 - $160.00 CommissionNotre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 - 12 located in Towson, Maryland, seeks a full-time long-term substitute in our Math Department for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This position will involve teaching sections of Algebra I and Pre-Calculus.

Grounded in Catholic teaching and inspired by the charism of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we expect our employees to foster a culture in which students are encouraged to explore their passions, deepen their faith, and build lasting bonds of sisterhood.

Dates for the position are approximately October 1th to November 30th (end date subject to change).

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Algebra I and Pre-Calculus classes to Upper Level.
• Teach 4 sections that each meet 3 out of 4 days in the schedule rotation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and other school-wide events.
• Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned.

QualificationsDesired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field required.
• Masters degree in Math, Teaching or related field preferred.
• Maryland State Teacher Certification and demonstrated expertise in the teaching of Math preferred.
• A passion for teaching Math to high school students.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into instruction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of the Math Department and the NDP community.

Long-term substitute rate is $160.00 per day.

All prospective employees must be able to adequately clear a State & Federal background check as well as the Maryland HB486 Child Safety background check.
