Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reports to the main office upon arrival at the school.
• Implements prepared lesson plans and maintains discipline.
• Fosters a safe, positive environment in accordance with policy.
• Completes attendance, grades, inventories, and similar records.
• Performs duties of the classroom teacher for four or more consecutive weeks.
• Monitors student interaction and keeps students on task.
• Maintains routines and appropriate use of materials and equipment.
• Promotes proper care of school property and resolves minor conflicts.
• Reports injuries, illnesses, or disciplinary issues promptly to administration.
• Stays at school for the full day unless excused by administration.
