Long Term Substitute from Oct 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027

Job Summary:

• Fulfill teacher duties and responsibilitiesin an elementary setting on a short-term contract.
  • Lesson planning

  • Collaborate with other teachers and administration
• Support student academic and social/emotional needs through proactive and evidence-based pedagogical practices.
• Provide ongoing literacy assessments and appropriately utilize strategies in a reading and writing.
• Collaborate with other teachers to design and coordinate common assessments and utilize data to target student needs.
• Participate in regular PLC meetings as an active and engaged professional.
• Communicate as needed with parents, colleagues, students, and administrators through all available means of technology.
• Establish and maintain high standards for character and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Teaching License required.
• Experience working withupper elementarystudents preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in teaching and assessing literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving in technology-rich environments.

Bargaining Group and Level: NA

Compensation:
BA Step 1 (51,256). Prorated to contract days worked.

Sick and Safe Time (Earned at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked)
