To provide appropriate instruction in subject areas and skill development that will contribute to the students’ development as mature, able and responsible citizens.
A valid Virginia teaching license in the area of teaching responsibility and successful student teaching or teaching experience is perfered. The age requirement is 21 for a long-term substitute in a middle school. Must be able to provide satisfactory references. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
