Job summary

Mile Tree Elementary in Wilbraham, MA is seeking a Long Term Substitute Speech Language Pathologist (SPL) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our Special Education team.

The position is full-time with daily compensation of $275–$325 for SLP or $33–$38/hour for SLPA, and requires MA DESE licensure, CORI and fingerprints, plus school- based experience preferred.

Starting date is October 21, 2026, with ongoing eligibility until filled.

Qualifications

• MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure.
• Valid Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology licensure.
• Master’s degree in education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field (preferred).
• 3-years of experience working in a public or private school system (preferred).
• SEI Endorsement (preferred).
• Valid CORI is required.
• Suitable “fingerprinting” results are required before employment can begin.
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Master degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers.
• Adhere to federal, state and local laws relating to students and families (child protection, confidentiality, 504, attendance).
