What You'll Do

As part of the Special Education team, the Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant provides direct services to students in classrooms and small groups, delivering targeted interventions to develop language skills, improve speech, and facilitate communication using assistive technology. Responsibilities include developing IEP goals, sharing information with families, maintaining documentation, and working under the supervision of an SLP.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and consultation services under supervision
  • Conduct assessments
  • Implement curriculum and treatment plans
  • Support IEP implementation
  • Maintain therapy materials and adapt instructional resources
  • Collaborate with educational teams and teachers
  • Model accommodations and consult with families
  • Complete documentation per regulations
  • Utilize assistive technology
  • Attend meetings and professional development
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
  • Valid Massachusetts licensure
  • Experience with early childhood services

This is a district-wide, school-year position working under supervision of an SLP, with annual assignments based on caseload needs.
