Location: Maplebrook Elementary School. Essential duties include delivering lesson plans, ensuring student safety, protecting materials, communicating positively with students and staff, and assisting in managing behavior to foster a positive learning

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Willingness to work 5 days per week at the assigned school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans as instructed by the regular classroom teacher and/or school administrators.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students within the assigned classroom and respond to emergencies.
• Protect equipment, materials and facilities as appropriate.
• Communicate positively with students, staff and others.
• Manage student behavior to support a positive learning environment.
