Job summary

Mt. Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania is seeking a Long-Term Substitute School Counselor for the September–October period. This is a full-time, on-site temporary assignment through anticipated October 30, 2026.

Candidates starting before 09/28/26 will be eligible for the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers' salary schedule, with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential. Substitutes starting after 09/28/26 will receive a per diem rate of $150.

• Active Specialist Certificate in School Counseling (Grades 9–12) issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The Mt. Lebanon School District has an immediate need for a Long-Term Substitute School Counselor at Mt. Lebanon High School.
This is a full-time, on-site, temporaryassignment through anticipated October 30, 2026.
Candidates who commence employment prior to 09/28/26 will be eligible for the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers' salary schedule with rates starting at $297 per day depending upon credential.

Substitutes who commence employment after 09/28/26 will be eligible for the per diem substitute rate of $150.

This position will not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits.
Required: Active SpecialistCertificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in School Counseling that is inclusive of Grades 9-12.

In order to be eligible for employment, the following clearances must be furnished and approved for hire at time of job offer:
