Wage: $240 per day
This position is to cover a Kindergarten classroom from approximately April 28 - June 12, 2025.
SUMMARY: Performs teacher's class plan while the teacher is out.

This position supervises the following positions:
Supervises students and oversees teacher’s assistance for instruction purposes.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree in education.
Ability to read and analyze a wide variety of material. Ability to write in an understandable and concise manner. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community.
Ability to apply concepts of mathematics as required for the grade level being taught.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and the community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and School Board policies.
Ability to perform a variety of duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee will occasionally sit and walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally push and/or move up to 10 pounds, such as a TV/VCR cart. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee continuously interacts with the public and other staff and occasionally meets multiple demands from several people.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is performed indoors.
Must possess and maintain or be eligible for a current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license to teach. When fulfilling a long-term substitute assignment over 45 days, must possess a current valid license in the specific area they are substituting for.
Shall complete a physical examination as required by Wisconsin Statute 118.25.
