Job summary

Cumberland Valley School District is seeking an active K-6 or PK-4 Elementary teacher certified in Pennsylvania to join our schools and engage students with a strong, inclusive curriculum.

Preferred qualifications include Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certification and prior elementary teaching with special education certification. Candidates must communicate clearly, nurture student growth, and implement the approved curriculum with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

Job description

An active K-6 or PK-4 Elementary Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required for this position. Candidates who possess an active Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Teaching Certification are preferred. Prior experience as an elementary school teacher and special education certification is also preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills. Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum.
