Job Overview:

The Lebanon High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute ELL & Reading Teacher to join the team for a anticipated period of 30 workdays to cover a leave of absence. The Long-Term Substitute ELL & Reading Teacher will work with high school English language learners, as well as with students who need support in reading.

Required activities include planning and delivering lessons, collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists, administering formative and summative assessments, and completing documentation as applicable in accordance with state of NH guidelines.

• NH ELL Teacher Certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in education with a focus in English Language is preferred.

• Pro-rated Paid Time Off

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
