The Fairview Park City Schools are seeking a Long-term Sub for English Language Learner (ELL) Tutor at Fairview High School/Middle School. The role is up to 6 hours per day on student days for the 2026-2027 school year, with immediate availability.

Certification required: Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure. Duties include coaching students, administering assessments, and supporting digital learning tools across grades 6-12, with collaboration across ELL and core teams.

• Well versed in evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate with ELL teacher, grade-level teams, classroom teachers and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions

• Ability to coach one-on-one and in small groups to assist students with classroom assignments including vocabulary building and conversational confidence
• Develop and administer remediation programming
• Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and intervention strategies

CERTIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS

SALARY

Payscale starts at $22.64 - $24.80 per hour (proper placement on tutor salary schedule based on education and/or experience)
