Qualifications

• Experience working with students is a plus.
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret lesson plans, technical procedures and textbooks.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at the building with time to review substitute plans and prepare for the day.
• Deliver lesson plans as instructed, including taking daily attendance.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all students and respond to emergencies following safety precautions.
• Maintain professional rapport with students, staff, and administration.
• Maintain classroom order and conduct conducive to learning.
• Communicate expectations and adapt to individual learning needs.
