• Possess strong desire to work with students with disabilities.
• Demonstrate commitment to equity and student well-being.
• Able to work every school day during the assignment term.
• Capable of functioning effectively in both special education and general education environments.
• Fingerprint-based background check completed successfully.
• Physical fitness documentation within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Special Education Department on arrival.
• Provide instructional coverage for long-term teacher leaves and participate in IEP meetings as required.
• Review substitute plans, prep lessons, and deliver instruction per schedules.
• Uphold District policies and classroom routines; ensure student safety and well-being.
• Check out with the Division Secretary at day’s end and perform other duties as assigned.
