Job summary

BOBIcares seeks a dedicated non-medical caregiver to join a private household on a long-term basis. The role blends personal care, household coordination, and companionship for a quadriplegic employer who enjoys culture and social activities.

You will provide day-to-day assistance, manage light tasks, accompany the employer to events, and drive a wheelchair-accessible minivan. A stable, discreet, and friendly presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Present well and communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
• Discretion to handle a private household.
• Physically able to perform transfers and lifting after training.
• Comfortable driving a minivan and having a valid driver's license.
• Willing to pass a background check and provide strong references.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day personal care with safe lifting and wheelchair transfers.
• Support household management and light administrative tasks.
• Accompany the client to social, cultural, and community events.
• Drive a wheelchair-accessible minivan for errands and outings.
• Balance warmth with good judgment and maintain privacy.
