Job summary

Place 2B Properties is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to provide consistent, compassionate non-medical support to a regular roster of clients in their homes, helping them live safely and comfortably. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, mobility assistance, and timely reporting to the Care Manager, while following each client's care plan.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to commit to a consistent schedule
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, accounting for dietary restrictions
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful, personalized activities
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Provide medication reminders (not administration, unless certified/permitted by state law)
• Monitor and promptly report changes in client condition to the Care Manager
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided at each visit
• Build consistent, trusted relationships with a regular caseload of clients
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and safety protocols
